Responsibilities:

Responsible for troubleshooting application production issues, and for responding to critical application outages or issues.
Required knowledge of Java/Unix/SQL
Assessing technical bulletins to ensure there will be no impact to the production environment
Drive to root cause and resolution
Providing on-call support for after-hours batch processes
Partnering with the Delivery Management team to ensure a smooth transition from enhancement and project teams to production support team
Ensuring that service level agreements are met
Interacting with client, vendors and business partners
Communicating the status of all production problems and upcoming maintenance and release activities to business partners, stakeholders and upper management
Continually looking for opportunities to improve applications, batch processes, etc. to improve overall customer experience and maintain a stable production environment
Providing on-call support for after-hours batch processes

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of relevant Unix, Java, and SQL experience working in a production support/L2 environment
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Client-facing/Customer-focused mindset
Focused self-starter, quick learner, and willingness to be flexible
The ability to provide on-call support as needed
Prior experience working in the Healthcare industry is a plus
